The Sacrament of the Eucharist is one of the most important and sacred practices in the Catholic Church. In this sacrament, we receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, who is truly present in the consecrated bread and wine. This holy meal nourishes our souls and strengthens our relationship with God and one another.
Our parish invites all eligible Catholics to partake in this sacrament during Mass. If you or someone you know is homebound and would like to receive Holy Communion, please call 203-637-3661 ext 375.
Presently, children at this parish celebrate their First Holy Communion in second grade, provided that they have satisfied the diocesan two-year faith formation requirement. Please note that we follow diocesan policies and norms, which could dictate pushing back the celebration of First Holy Communion to third grade in the near future.
