Baptism is the first of the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church and serves as the gateway to the Christian life. Through Baptism, individuals are cleansed of original sin, become members of the Church, and receive the Holy Spirit. Please note that once a child has turned 7 years old, they must receive faith formation through the parish prior to receiving the sacrament of Baptism.
