Dr. Liya Petrides, Music Director
Music is at the heart of our celebrations, one of the primary ways we worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.
Each year, our volunteer singers and professional core of cantors sing at nearly 300 services, including the celebrations of Christmas, Confirmation of our young adults, and the great Holy Week liturgies culminating in Easter, and in our Concert Series as part of our Festival Choir and Ensemble.
Several choirs comprise a graded music program for those of all ages and abilities.
Traditional Choir: 10:30 AM Sunday

Our Traditional Choir is a 20-voice Adult choir which sings an impressive array of music from plainchant to Renaissance, to Baroque and Classical works, as well as Contemporary composers and music from around the world. There are four professional singers, one for each section to help the volunteers. The choir sings a major anthem each Sunday, accompanied by piano, organ and guest instrumentalists. This choir rehearses immediately following the 10:30 AM Mass, from 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM. To learn more and to schedule an audition,
Contemporary Choir: 9:00 AM Sunday

Our Contemporary Choir, directed by Rita Lapcevic, sings contemporary music accompanied by piano, guitar, drums and flute. They rehearse on Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM immediately prior to the 9:00 AM Family Mass in the Choir Room. No audition is necessary; email Rita Lapcevic to sign up.
Festival Choir

Our Festival Choir, comprised of members of the congregation and the greater Greenwich community, often accompanied by instrumentalists, perform outstanding each year, including our Annual Christmas Spectacular, Choral Stations of the Cross during Holy Week, and other events. Past performances include Faure's and Mozart's Requiem, Rachmaninoff's Vespers, Vivaldi's Gloria, Rutter’s Requiem, Bach’s Magnifican and cantatas, Christmas Oratorio by Saint-Saëns and newly commissioned works. The choir also participates in joint concerts and services at neighboring churches and temples. To learn more and to schedule an audition,

The singers are accompanied by piano, guitar, electric bass, saxophone, and drums. Additional instruments such as flute and violin are welcome and encouraged to join. They practice just prior to Mass at 4:00 PM.
