Youth churchFaith Formation for the coming year will be very different than in the past, as we deal with the Coronavirus pandemic, social distancing and sanitizing requirements.  In an effort to be sure that we continue to offer a quality formation program, we know, at this time, that it will begin with distance-learning along with some in-person meetings for parents and students.  As the pandemic restrictions and precautions progress in the coming weeks, we will develop our program accordingly and within the safest guidelines possible.

First Communion 2020
Gold design, first communion symbol for a nice invitation design.

Over the past two weeks, we have been celebrating our First Communions. The celebrations have been simpler but still a beautiful celebration in each child's sacramental life.  First Communion is being held under the tent at St. Agnes on Saturday mornings at a 9:00 AM Mass.  A first communicant and two attendants will be invited, with 24 communicants total per Mass.  There are two dates that remain, so please sign-up for the date of your choice if you have not done so already:  Sign up here.

Confirmation was the first event we cancelled five months ago!  Fr. Platt has delegation to celebrate Confirmation with our candidates who were ready to be confirmed in March, as the Bishop cannot possibly do all of the Confirmations in the Diocese.

With that in mind, we will be celebrating Confirmation outside of Mass in St. Catherine's Church on several more dates in August and September. The Candidate, his/her sponsor (or proxy sponsor) and two attendants will be invited, with 20 Candidates in total per Mass.  Please use this link to sign-up for the date of your choice:  Sign up here.

We will have a virtual rehearsal to review the Mass; however, the students are prepared and ready.  Each Candidate will wear their white robe that they received in March.  Masks covering the mouth and nose are REQUIRED for all attending Mass.  We will adhere to social distancing guidelines.

We are looking forward to celebrating with all of you!  Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., if you have any questions.
